Raffaello's style
In 1494, in Cremona, in the church Sant'Agostino arrived the first artwork of the Renaissance from the North of Italy: the Roncadelli altarpiece signed by Pietro Vannucci, called “Perugino”.
Vannucci, who was also Raffaello's teacher, and his Cremona's altarpiece created a sort of artistic shock in the area of the Po Valley and they paved the way for the great news which arrived from the center of Italy. The art of Reffaello left a sign in some artists like Boccaccio Boccaccino, Pordenone who used to work in the decoration school of the town and in the one of the central Cathedral's nave.
