Concerts 2019_2020
Among the most famous composers in the history of music there is Ludwig van Beethoven who was born 250 years ago and whose 250th anniversary is celebrated this year in the Concerts' Season 2019-2020 of Ponchielli Theatre.
Starting from the opening concert on the 28th of November 2019 and for the entire duration of the Season, the hall of the theatre will play some of the most-beloved Beethoven's pages.
Beyond the tribute to Beethoven, the Concerts' Season 2019-2020 will propose, as usually, an extremely varied program made up of very famous and appreciated tracks together with less known music works. Beethoven will represent, in this way, a sort of music passport that will lead the public to Germany (Beethoven, Mendelssohn), France (Fauré), Great Britain (Britten, Elgar), Czech Republic (Dvořák), Austria (Haydn, Mozart, Bruckner) and Russia (Stravinskij, Šostakovič), passing through Italy, obviously (Rota, Boccadoro, Fresu).
