Partial closure of the Torrazzo climb

Starting from Monday 28 October 2024 and until the work is completed, the last part of the climb to the Torrazzo will be temporarily closed to the public.

In particular, it will not be possible to continue beyond the overlook of the battlements, a point from which visitors will still be able to continue to admire the city's evocative panorama.

This closure is necessary to allow important extraordinary maintenance work on the upper part of the structure, aimed at preserving the architectural integrity and guaranteeing the safety of all visitors.

Despite the temporary restriction, the Torrazzo will remain regularly open to the public up to the area of the battlements, and visitors will still be able to enjoy a unique experience, including the exhibition route and the museum housed inside the tower.
