In the ancient dining hall of the nunnery you can admire some wonderful frescoes about the Crucifixion and the Last Supper painted by Giovan Pietro da Cemmo between the 15th and the 16th Century.
The sections of the museum represent the history of Crema’s area from the Prehistory till nowadays, through the archaeological remains and some historic documents. An important part is dedicated to the most recent history of Crema, through the reconstruction of the daily life in the countryside of the 19th Century and the industrial history of the town.
The picture’s gallery presents the most important artworks of Crema painting production from the 17th Century till nowadays. One important part of the collections is occupied by the production of the 18th Century architect Luigi Manini who made the extraordinary Portuguese palace called  Quinta de Regaleira.
