CREMONA SUMMER FESTIVAL
Cremona, Crema, Casalmaggiore
Once again this year, great international music will be the star of the Cremona summer: from 24 June to 28 September, the fifteenth edition of the Cremona Summer Festival will take place, a summer event dedicated to music and violin making, which will transform Cremona and its surrounding area into a global reference point for students, teachers and enthusiasts.
All concerts are free to attend, subject to availability.
The 2025 edition will see the involvement of important international musical institutions: among the first events, the concert by the University of London Graduate Consort, which will perform on 24 June at 9 p.m. at Cremona Cathedral and on 25 June at 9 p.m. at the Manenti Auditorium in Crema, followed by the Cerdd NPT Music Youth Choir and Orchestra at 9 p.m. on 25 June in Cortile Federico II.
This year, the festival will feature unmissable events of Traditional Chinese Opera, with various theatre companies performing throughout the summer in Cremona, Crema and Casalmaggiore. This has been made possible thanks to the collaboration with International Culture Cooperation, the Centre for Artistic Development of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China, the National Arts Fund of China, and the Chinese Opera Research Society.
Also not to be missed are the prestigious performances at the Violin Museum:
-Saturday 12 July, 9:00 p.m. – Casalmaggiore International Music Festival
-Saturday 19 July, 8:30 p.m. – Cremona International Music Academy: Concert of the 2024 winners with the Festival Orchestra
