In the sometimes fairy-tale like environment of Lago d'Iseo, the international music festival 'Onde Musicali' presents a program of 60 concerts in 17 cities on the shores and in the hills around the lake. Follow the genres that you like and discover the region of Iseo at the same time. Classical, lyrical, crossover and jazz music and more. Something for every taste and every moment!
BROKEN NATURE – TRIENNALE DI MILANO

When visiting the 'city of design', Triennale has to be on your to-do-list. Especially since this is the year of 'the' XXII Triennale of Milan. In 'Broken Nature', design takes on human survival. After visiting 'Broken Nature', we advise you to take some time to relax and listen to the fascinating sounds of Great Animal Orchestra, a related event in Triennale.
TRA SACRO E SACRO MONTE
Sacro Monte, Varese

Don't miss the spectacles of this theatre festival in Sacro Monte, Varese. The performances take place on spectacular locations, like for example Terrazza del Mosè from which you have a spectacular view over the hills of Varese. Quality pieces by quality actors and actresses. This year the festival celebrates its 10th birthday. A real treat for theatre lovers!
Milano, Castello Sforzesco

62x music, 17x theatre, 6x dance: a summer with over 80 spectacles at 'Estate Sforzesca' in Milan. Impressive numbers and an impressive line-up of artists. Amazing, the more so when you realize that many of the 'Estate Sforzesca' shows are free of charge! Enjoy the enchanting atmosphere of the park and Sforzesca castell, have a cool drink and a 'large sip' of entertainment.
FESTIVAL IL LAGO CROMATICO
Lago Maggiore, Various locations

Music is key in this festival and concerts will take place on different locations in the Lombardy part of Lago Maggiore. Discover the beauty of this area through its program of events. Get to know the traditions of each area by combining the concerts with for example a guided tour, an exhibition or a taste of the local food and wine. This festival will stimulate all your senses!
NON SOLO CLOWN
Monza, Piazza Trento e Trieste
Every Saturday until August 31st
An international line up of the best street artists, clowns, jugglers, mimes, music and even fire eaters can be admired every Saturday on Piazza Trento e Trieste in Monza. A cheerful and uplifting mix of artists and shows. This edition, the festival even offers a special section dedicated to children. A perfect escape for families with children of all ages!
GIIR DI MONT
Sports lover? Then the Giir Di Mont in Premana is a unique experience! Born as a challenge on a path that would unite the 12 mountain pastures of the Premanese territory, the Giir di Mont has become a landmark event. Now attracting more than a thousand competitors, including the best athletes on the international scene!
FESTA DELLA MONTAGNA
Varese, Campo dei Fiori
From August 8th till 18th
A program of events related to the location and of course local food. The highlights are: the time-trial 'Tre Croci' (for runners and cyclists), the Motoadunata Alpina for which hundreds of bikes will gather in Piazza Repubblica, descending to the Grotta Marelli and visiting the Osservatorio Schiaparelli.

Ambria Jazz Festival is an itinerant jazz and contemporary music festival bearing the name of the association that organizes it. Each concert takes place on a different location. From churches to castles, theatres, historic buildings and gardens. Jazz for an audience of all ages!
CALICI DI STELLE

A glass of wines under the stars. It might sound like a normal Saturday evening. But....in the night of San Lorenzo, the chances are high you will see at least one falling star. Combined with the high-quality wines of Valtellina and a tasting route through the marvellous historical centre of Sondrio, makes this an unmissable experience.
FESTIVAL DI BELLAGIO E DEL LAGO DI COMO 2019
Lago di Como, Various locations

A lake, two orchestras and lots of music. Attending this festival means starting a journey full of art, music, literature through the entire Lake region. Culture at its best, based on the legacy of figures, such as Liszt, Verdi and Wagner and inspired by personalities from arts and literature such as Stendhal, Flaubert & Manzoni.
JENNY HOLZER TUTTA LA VERITÀ (THE WHOLE TRUTH)
Bergamo, Palazzo della Ragione, in Piazza Vecchia

The doors of the Palazzo della Ragione, in Piazza Vecchia, open to contemporary art and host "Tutta la verità - The Whole Truth". The exhibition is dedicated to the American artist Jenny Holzer and curated by Lorenzo Giusti, director of GAMeC – Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art. It is the return to Italy of one of the most influential international artists, who brings her subversive momentum between the walls of the Sala delle Capriate, where the city's justice was administered. The installation will include nine marble benches arranged in the centre of the room, creating a resting place where you can stop and observe the illuminated walls and the sentences engraved on the benches themselves.
MANTOVA FILM FESTIVAL
Mantova, Various locations
From August 20th till 25th
The twelfth edition of the festival returns to Mantua with six days of screenings, more than thirty films, many interesting guests and three important prizes to be awarded.
This year, besides the 10 best debuts in Italian cinema, also the best international 'first works' will be judged by the young jury of the Mantova Film Festival.
CREMONA SUMMER FESTIVAL
Cremona, Various locations

The Cremona Summer Festival features a full program of competitions, masterclasses and concerts. Students and teachers of stringed instruments, piano and wind instruments from all over the world come to Cremona to play in the land of 'Stradivari'. Cremona is the city of the violin, so if anywhere you should enjoy the sound of this beautiful instrument it's here!
